LightHouse Lamp

LightHouse is a family of folded cardboard and portable luminaires for interior use as floorlamps or tablelamps, marketed in three sizes and seven colors. In manufacturing it’s used 1mm recycled cardboard for structure, folded and printed inside, and electrical textile cable in the same color with plug and bulbholder with tip. ON/OF switch on the electrical cable.
LightHouse is a product designed by I’m Studio, a creative space founded in 2012 that emerges from the ongoing collaboration of Marcos Parga and artist and photographer Iraida Lombardia (www.iralombardia.com)The work of  I’m Studio tends to occupy and reflect on a common and unexplored place between art, architecture, photography and design, in which generate the optimal conditions where concepts, ideas and solutions can grow, adapt and eventually become projects and products.
All processes that we implement are based on and powered by a continuous and intense collaboration with various operators linked to the most diverse activities. Thus, in part of the production process of the LightHouse we have engaged the Juan XXIII Foundation (www.fundacionjuanxxiii.org), an institution based in Madrid that for over 45 years has been dedicated to improve the quality of life and labor integration of intellectually disabled.
